Privacy policy
CLEAN CAM
CLEAN CAM collects nothing. There is no account, no server of ours in the middle, and nothing to leak. This page explains that in plain language.
Last updated: 24 August 2026
What we collect
Nothing. CLEAN CAM does not collect personal data. It does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts or location, and it has no sign-up, login or account of any kind.
What we receive
Nothing. The app does not transmit data to us, the developer, or to any third party. We have no server that the app talks to, so there is nothing for us to receive, store, sell or hand over.
Your cameras and their passwords
Camera addresses, usernames, passwords and app settings are stored only on your device, in the app's own private storage. They are never uploaded, backed up to us, or shared. If you uninstall the app, they go with it.
Your video
Video streams travel directly between your phone and your cameras over your own local network. Nothing is routed through us, and nothing is recorded or relayed by us. If your phone leaves the network your cameras are on, the app simply cannot reach them, which is the intended behaviour.
Permissions, and why
- Local network access is used only to discover ONVIF cameras on the Wi-Fi network you are connected to, and then to stream from the cameras you choose. It is not used for anything else.
- Saving to your gallery happens only when you tap to save a snapshot. The image is written to your device's own gallery and stays there. We never see it.
What is not in the app
No analytics. No crash reporting. No advertising SDKs. No trackers, fingerprinting or profiling. No third-party libraries that phone home.
Children
The app collects no data from anyone, and that includes children.
Changes to this policy
If this ever changes, we will update this page and the date above. If a future version of the app ever needed to collect anything, we would say so here first, in the same plain language.
